We want you! We recognize that our volunteers are crucial to the success of our program. Our volunteers are more than just supervisors, they are COACHES and MENTORS. The philosophy of The First Tee centers around the idea of adults associated with The First Tee being identified as a coach. We are extending an opportunity to you to be a coach on a winning team! You may not think you have anything to give a golf program, but we are more than that and we recognize that you are too. The commitment to our program consists of a formal application and screening. In addition, you will be asked to participate, schedule permitting, in events both on and off-site and our instructional sessions.
The First Tee of Akron also hosts a volunteer training session to educate volunteers on the mission and goals of our chapter as well as pertinent information, scheduling, and events hosted by The First Tee of Akron and the impact on your role as a volunteer.
If you are interested in volunteering or for more information contact Executive Director, Frank Stams at 330-375-2638 or email@example.com.
